In a few minutes, you can configure the start menu to our liking thanks to the freedom offered by this colorful interface.
Although it is in the tactile devices where the Modern UI is handled more comfortably, it is also quite simple to use with a mouse. Still, there are users to whom the latter is uncomfortable, so we are going to show you some tricks to log in to Windows 8 without a password and go directly to the classic desktop.
How to access administrator account in windows 8 without password
When starting Windows 8, the first thing we will see will be the login screen where we must identify ourselves using a username and a password. For those who are sure that their team is safe from unauthorized access and prefer a faster log-in, we will show in a few simple steps how to skip this process.
The first thing we have to do is press both the Windows key and the R key to open the Run menu. Enter the netplwiz command, and after clicking OK, we will access the User Accounts manager.

Now, uncheck the box Users must type their name and password to use the device, which is located at the top of the user account manager window. We click on OK, and the next time we restart the session or the computer, we will go directly to the Start menu.

Although in Windows 8.1 you can directly access the desktop without having to go through the start menu, those who do not want to wait until then, you can resort to one of the solutions that we show you below.
The first and simplest of all, with which we will not have to resort to external software, is to use the Task Scheduler. Press the Windows key and F key to open the Search menu, and enter the word “program” at the top right. Now we make sure to click on Settings so that the Schedule Tasks application appears on the left side of the screen and we click on it to start it.
In the window that will open we select the Task Scheduler Library, in the column on the right we give Create the basic task, and we only have to follow the steps of the assistant:
- Name and description: Enter the name we want to give to the task. For example, Start with Desktop
- Trigger: We select When logging in so that the task is carried out at that moment.
- Action: We select Start a program, and in the field Program or script we write explorer
- Finish: We check that all the data is correct, we end it and close all the windows.

Modern Bypass UI
An alternative method is to configure our Windows 8 to access the classic desktop directly by installing programs such as Bypass Modern UI. Its installation is as simple as double-clicking and following the instructions on the screen. If at any time we want to uninstall the application and return the system to its previous state, Bypass Modern UI allows you to do it from the installation menu itself.
