Escape Hour is a fully immersive, high difficulty escape room experience with challenging mental puzzles which will take true teamwork and test your logical reasoning skills to the limits. There are two escape rooms in Calgary available:

• The original Escape Hour that can be played by 2-6 players.
• The new Escape Room that can be played by 2-5 players.

You can book either room, but if you wish to play The New Escape Room with 5 players it is recommended you have at least 2 women in your group.

The rooms are split over two levels and are filled with atmospheric props befitting the time period of the room — Art Deco styling for The Original Escape Hour and Victorian for The New Escape Hour.

The rooms are decorated with one of a kind props and set design completed by Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design students. The lighting and sound effects, along with the specially composed music (from the talented David Palmer) all contribute to creating an atmosphere like no other.

Upon entering our reception you will be greeted by our friendly and helpful staff who will brief you on the game, explain the rules and answer any questions.

Once the game begins you will have 60 minutes to work as a team to escape the room. In order to do so you will need to find clues, solve puzzles and complete tasks.

If time runs out (or you choose to quit) you will be able to re-enter the room and try again, at no extra charge.

Escape Hour is designed with a combination of puzzles which rely on teamwork and logical reasoning skills. Puzzles include:

• code breaking;
• cryptography;
• mystery/code/find the difference;
• sequencing numbers or patterns;
• mathematical problem;
• logic puzzles and;
• teamwork tasks.
